Life after 20
Today i have decided to write about something a little serious, its what i am feeling right now as i turned 27 a month back. And trust me it's not gonna be depressional, so kindly don't leave just yet..
Though to be honest i might not even make sense to some but some may relate to it and may find it helpful or at least can relax knowing they are not alone in this state of mind.
i have been having this feeling since it was my 25th birthday which was 2 years back, i didn't feel like celebrating as i thought, what's the point in celebrating when i am actually growing old and nobody wants that, right?? But nobody can help it either "time and tide waits for none".
And i felt like it was too soon i really was just a teenager few days back, even though thats not true, but its just hard to accept, right??
I mean i had only started enjoying my freedom of being an adult, well almost an adult and in my head i am still trying to figure out how to be an adult (at my 27).
It's just a number, age is, but it brings some invisible strings of responsibility when you are still fighting to remain a free, independent spirit and yet u manage to tie yourself up, and yes we do it.. cause we also want to settle, fall in love, have things for our own, basically all of those things which comes with responsibility, and then you feel so tied up. It's a confusing time in everyone's life,to be matured or not to be??
And now that i am 2 years older and wiser that i realized, perhaps we never really know that, with time we just keep doing the things that crops out at that point of time, but we never stop wondering too.. if we could have done it better or if we could have avoided it, stuffs like that.
I am kind of having a feeling that i am losing a lot of reader by now, but i am just writing what i am thinking it's not a planned thing and i guess thats why its going to help someone understand even more clearly, because its a natural state.
Anyway, i see a lot of people around me who are in the range of 20-29+ and they all, at some point, question themselves, or may have asked somebody in the middle of a telephone conversation, or talk about somebody who is going through this "clueless phase of life” ..
And when we all leave for our home and hit the bed it all starts :
What are we doing? -- What are we really supposed to do? -- Was i meant to be living this life? -- Was this my dream? -- Could i have done better? -- Could i be doing what he/she is doing? -- Could i be better than them? And the list goes on..
But then we fade into sleep and we wake up and do what we were doing in life before asking ourselves those questions..because that's what is going to pay our bills. And honestly not doing it won’t even be practical.
But what about those recurring questions which keeps you from sleeping at night? Will they stop? NO, they won't ever stop. If someone tells me today that by the time i reach my 50's things will all fall into places i wont believe as its against human nature we always WANT, and if you live your life wanting and not getting you will never forget.
Yet, why do we go back to our regular life which is failing to give one answer to all those questions that we have for ourselves???
Simple, because something is better than nothing and we definitely want something to always keep going in our life. But what if there is a way and its not as difficult as it looks, or for some may be even difficult but is it worth? Hell yes..
Now, you probably have started to giving it a hint of thought so i am going to tell you secretly, don't freak out and change your mind just too quick, it is going to be tough, but.. but hear me out it's only cause you got too used to the life you were living just like going for gym, it's hard only in the initial days (which anyways you were going through by getting unhealthy and probably would have prolonged if you din't took the first step) so just hang in there a little longer and gradually you will see how fast you will adapt, and you will, because positive changes always bring excitement which makes you more energetic.
So now to the things that i do to keep things on track :

The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask
Hello and welcome to another blog post, i know i am again late with the review but what can i say i did not wanna write unless i was 100% sure myself that i know the product, who would take the risk with skin u know..!!!
Without further due i would jump right into the product, the bouncy sleeping mask, i dunno how or who thought of naming this product but was true to his/her job, it is bouncy and is a mask.
To me it's the modern generation mask, i am so used to the peeling masks and the washable ones so it takes a bit to get the hang of leave on masks, that too overnight.
Claims to leave the skin youthfully bouncy and which it does. I had to give it up cause i loved the product.
It has edelweiss stem cells which helps to fight ageing of the skin and retain the youth, i did some research on internet before writing this down as i had no idea when i read it in the packaging and i wanted to be sure.
i don't know how much it fights ageing cause i am quite young myself :P but it does hydrate, freshens and smoothes the skin like a soft mattress, bouncy and soft ;)

CHANEL - 05 LIP COLOUR MADEMOISELLE
Mademoiselle, the name by which Gabrielle Chanel was known as..
First of all it's a luxury product naturally quite pricey, but if you want your own signature colour, one which you can pull off all round the year, this is IT.
I have a weakness to this brand but i will pinpoint each good and bad things about the product, nevertheless.
The packaging is same classic Chanel gold and black with the Chanel imprint on the lipstick bullet. This particular lipstick,in my opinion, belongs to the nude family even though its mostly described as a brown-pink shade.
Even if it is under the Hydrating category i don't think it adds any extra hydration on your lips neither dries out, in fact its perfectly wearable without any fuss, its just a basic creme lipsticky texture.
It has a semi-matte finish, glides smoothly on the lips. The color is intense but not in an over-powering way. Gives out more of the pink tone and looks very natural while enhancing any natural lip shade.

The colour pay-off on application as you can see is very natural, the shade is chic and sophisticated, it doesn't look like it is heavy even though its quite high coverage.
Not shiny, not matte, has a very light sheen which looks perfect day/night.
The only 2 drawbacks are :
1. not long wearing, it is a creme formula so naturally it wears off super easily.
2. the lipstick bullet breaks off quite easily, i have experienced this with almost every chanel lipstick (except for the rouge coco range),which is a bit frustrating as they are expensive.
But overall, check out the shade you would love it. I guarantee.
:) till next time.. cya.. xoxoxo..

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate.
First of all apologies, i know i am late in the bandwagon, i know it's like a sin, but i was tired of trying out varities of skin care products all the time, which had taken a toll on my skin but thanks to this "genie in bottle" i have now sorted it all out with my skin & it seems like we are again best friends.
Yes, its true i was little apprehensive to try this out after trying tons of serums & oils and irritating my skin all the more & did enter the store 200 times and checking it on my hands.
Try this at least for once, i bet you will be happy with the effect. Even if u break out in the beginning, bear with it for a while it will start working.
The smell is very calming and soothing if not anything. I use it before my moisturiser, and at night as the name suggests. I did break out for a while then i started using alternate nights and now its fine, it did clear my skin a lot and plumped up a little bit too. Overall i am quite happy with it but if something changes i will write again.
xoxoxoxoxo :) see you again.

dermalogica gentle cream exfoliant
Today i am going to write about the skin care product that i have never stopped using since the first time. This product successfully have saved its place in my luxury skin care routine. Yes, its a bit pricey but if you wanna look good only using expensive cosmetics won't help you achieve that, you got to have skin which is perfectly maintained and taken care of.
So, ladies do not ever hesitate to splurge into luxury skin care products, coz if you look good you know you can rock the world.
Now to the product, dermalogica gentle cream exfoliant is a masque which helps getting smooth and vibrant skin, it says the same on the back of the tube and it really does what it says.
This contains Lactic acid & Salicylic acid which helps remove your dead cells and regenerate new cells and your skin glows and looks fresh even without make up.
We all know that exfoliation of our skin is necessary to keep it healthy & glowing, and most of us look for new scrubbing lotions or techniques. I used to do the same but i have learned that the way the exfoliating or scrubbing lotions, which has small particles, work on your skin is hideous. You can't see with your naked eyes but it literally strips down the skin and rip it up, the delicate veins on your facial skin ruptures and that is when you break out.
Don't go by my words but you can even research on google and may be ask your dermatologists.
Anyway, so i switched to this product to exfoliate my face at least once a month because lactic acid gently suck out the dead skin particles and dirts from the pore of the skin without harshly effecting the veins. And if you use this product you will thank me as you will feel the difference from the first day of your use.

Note : my skin is mostly natural, sometimes it tends to be on the drier and sometimes oily

- use a muslin cloth & warm water
- keep the wet cloth on your face the masque soften a bit
